Elizabeth Christensen

Elizabeth Christensen is the Director of the Iowa Western Community College Small Business Development Center. She brings a wealth of experience for local small businesses with support on marketing, process improvement, and sustainable growth. Her background includes bachelor’s in Business Management and a Master’s in Entrepreneurship of Technology. Elizabeth has a strong background in IT, supporting owners in cloud transformation, IT security, and network development. She’s consulted extensively with family-owned, technology start-ups and local businesses from ideation through exits over the last two decades.

Josh Baker

Joshua Baker serves as the Small Business Development Center's Coordinator at Iowa Western Community College. With a background as an Intake Coordinator and extensive Customer Service, Joshua has been a dedicated community supporter. In his free time, he enjoys baking and spending quality time with his wife and two daughters. Committed to fostering growth in Iowa, Joshua aims to help small businesses thrive by connecting them with the right resources and advocating for the services offered by the SBDC.
